USE OF OX-E-DROPS FOR RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS

Introduction:

Nothing is more heart breaking than losing a pet to antibiotic resistant pneumonia, dog flu, bordatella, kennel cough or any other respiratory infection. This is true of cats who are particularly prone to respiratory illness. However, there is hope and it is very important information for my pet owners, kennels and catterys to help prevent and cure respiratory problems.

Using a natural product like Ox-E-Drops on a daily basis is very important to overall wellness. Ox-E-Drops is included in all of the Blackwatch Feed Programs because of the ability to help maintain a healthy pH in the digestive and urinary tracts, with good levels of beneficial flora and low levels of yeast.

Besides taking Ox-E-Drops internally on a daily basis for overall wellness, we can use it at therapeutic levels internally (3 times a day). We can also use it in conjunction with a vaporizer or neblizer for respiratory problems. It is very effective in respiratory infections, at times it is even more effective than antibiotics, if the infection is caused by a strain that is resistant to antibiotics.

How Ox-E-Drops Work

Ox-E-Drops is a safe and stable compound which offers many internal and topical uses. It is a powerful oxidizing substance which can act as a bactericide, viricide and fungicide. Ingested, Ox-E-Drops releases precursors which assist the body in the removal of dangerous free radicals. Ox-E-Drops helps to increase the efficiency of enzymes involved in oxidation of foreign material in the body such as viruses.

For Pets:

Mix: Ox-E-Drops concentrate into 2-3 teaspoon of water to dilute it. Then add to the pet's food AM and PM feeding. If the pet objects to taste, mix it with a little Eagle holistic canned meat or one of the Honest Kitchen dehydrated raw foods, or yogurt.

Dosage: 1 drop of Ox-E-Drops per 20 lb. of body weight twice daily.
(small dogs 19# and under use = 1 drop - twice daily)

We suggest to also add 1 to 2 drops in a pet's water dish each time it is filled to help prevent mold and bacteria, especially when traveling away from your community or going to dog shows. If using a large bucket for more than one dog or large dogs, then we suggest 4-5 drops per bucket each time you change it.

How To Use:

(80 drops = 1 teaspoon) AND (240 drops = 1 Tablespoon

Internal Use: 1 drop for 1#- 19# lbs of body weight - then 1 drop per each 20lbs of body weight after.

If you happen to get a couple more drops it is not an issue, particiularly on a med-giant dog.

Eye Wash: 1% solution - 1/2 teaspoon Ox-E-Drops mixed in 1 cup of distilled water

Topical: Ear Wash, Spray on Skin/Feet, Vaginal/Penis Flush : 2% solution = 1 teaspoon of Ox-E-Drops mixed in 1 cup of distilled water

Vaporizer - 1 teaspoon of Ox-E-Drops mixed in 1 gallon of water to inhale. Critical cases you can use 1 Tablespoon Ox-E-Drops in a gallon of water.

Nebulizer - 6-8 drops of Ox-E-Drops per ounce of water (most nebulizers have a 2 ounce well).

FOR RESPIRATORY CONDITIONS:

(i.e., pneumonia, Dog Flu, congestion, breathing disorders, kennel cough, sneezing, asthma, bronchitis, wheezing, bacterial infections, runny eyes).

Important Note: For these problems I use Ox-E-Drops internally and externally as an inhalant.

Directions Internal Use:

Ox-E-Drops Concentrate needs to be diluted before feeding to your pet (1 drop per 20lbs of body weight) twice a day. Increase the dosage from 2 times a day to 3 times day with all types of illness or respiratory problems.

Directions for Use as an Inhalant - Vaporizer:

USING A VAPORIZER:

Mix 1 teaspoon of Ox-E-Drops Concentrate with one (1) gallon of water in a gallon vaporizer. NOTE: Severe cases of may warrant the use of 1 Tablespoon.

Directions: Place the pet in a crate or enclosed area like a small bathroom. A small room works well provided the pet can not get to the vaporizer, you may have to be in the room with the dog during this process ( it will be helpful to you as well). The preferred solution is to put the dog in a crate/cage and place the vaporizer near the outside of the crate (not in it). With a crate - we suggest covering the whole crate with a sheet to make a tent so the steam is confined to this small space.

Make sure the vapors are directed so the pet can breathe them (avoid hot steam near their nose or face). Make sure the vaporizer is in a safe place from other animals, use common sense with this - watch cords etc. you are dealing with water, electricity and steam. Allow the pet to breathe the vapors for 15-20 minutes of EACH HOUR for a period of 4-5 hours. Repeat the procedure for 2-3 days until the respiratory problem is in control. DO NOT PUT VAPORIZER DIRECTLY IN THE CRATE WITH THE DOG.

In critical cases - when it is a matter of life or death, I have used 2 Tablespoons per 1 gallon of water in a vaporizer.

Directions for Use as an Inhalant - Nebulizer:

Mix 6-8 DROPS of Ox-E-Drops per ounce of water and place in the nebulizer reservoir (reservoirs usually hold 2 ounces). For two ounces =12-16 drops.

Runny Eye Wash:

Apply the diluted 1% solution (1 cup distilled water + 1/2 teaspoon of Ox-E-Drops). Use 2-3 times daily with eyedropper or a soaked cotton ball.

Cleaning Pet Ears:
Rinse or spray the ear canal with the 2% solution (1 cup distilled water + 1 teaspoon of Ox-E-Drops) or saturate a cotton ball and wipe the ear canal thoroughly. Afterwards wipe the ear canal dry with a soft tissue or cotton. For more severe ear problems do this 2-3 times daily for the first 4-5 days; then once or twice weekly thereafter to maintain.

Ox-E-Drops can be used on new born puppies internally, with a vaporizer or in a colonic if needed. This is very important information for helping with ecoli and herpes virus situations. I will not include recommendations in this article as each case has to be handled differently so please contact me at GrDaneLady.com and/or the Ox-E-Drops distributor 877-816-6500 or 765-287-8288
